Boeing company is one of the initial aircraft manufacturing companies in the world and the most successful of them in the world. William E Boing, the founder of the company was initially a Lumber jack. Later he developed a liking on aviation and went on to start the Pacific aero products company, which is now the Boeing airplanes company. Boeing was the biggest supplier to the us government for warplanes during the world war.
As a top economic adviser to President Bill Clinton, Dorothy Robyn was charged with advancing America’s aerospace industry. Part of the job was not choosing sides between companies. But there was one exception: Boeing.
In the words of Dorothy Robyn “It was the one company for which I could be an out-and-out advocate,”
In competitions between American companies, the administration as a rule remained neutral. But Boeing’s commercial airplane division employed tens of thousands of Americans and its prime competition, Airbus, was in Europe, which acted as a major factor for the government to take decisions favourably for the boeing company

1) Boeing 314 Clipper (C-98)
The Boeing 314 Clipper was an American long-range flying boat produced by Boeing from 1938 to 1941. One of the largest aircraft of its time, it had the range to cross the Atlantic and Pacific oceans. For its wing, Boeing re-used the design from the earlier XB-15 bomber prototype. Twelve Clippers were built, nine of which served with Pan Am.
2) Boeing XAT-15 (Crewmaker)
The Boeing AT-15 was an American twin-engined bomber crew trainer designed and built by Boeing's Wichita Division. Only two prototypes, designated XAT-15, were built. Plans to buildover 1,000 were cancelled on the United States' entry into the Second World War.
3) Boeing YB-40 Flying Fortress
The Boeing YB-40 Flying Fortress was a modification for operational testing purposes of the B-17 Flying Fortress bomber aircraft, converted to act as a heavily armed gunship to support other bombers during World War II.
4) Boeing B-29 Superfortress
The Boeing B-29 Superfortress is an American four-engined propeller-driven heavy bomber, designed by Boeing and flown primarily by the United States during World War II and the Korean War.
5) Boeing C-97 Stratofreighter
The Boeing C-97 Stratofreighter was a long-range heavy military cargo aircraft developed from the B-29 and B-50 bombers. Design work began in 1942, the first of three prototype XC-97s flew on 9 November 1944, and the first of six service-test YC-97s flew on 11 March 1947.
